did I ever say i wanted something uber??????nope I sure didn't I just think it would be cool lol
Not a lot out there on it's history. The ones on my shelf are
"The Empire Express-The story of the US Navy PV Squadron aerial Strikes against the Japanese Kurile Isles during WW2" by Charles Scrivner
"Vega Ventura-The Operational History of Lockheed's Lucky Star" by John Stanaway
"PV Ventura/Harpoon Units of WW2" by Alan Carey
"2 Group RAF" by MJF Bowyer (Covers the RAF use of the Venturas over France and the low countries)
"Desert Scorpions-A History of 459 Squadron RAAF" by Leon Kane-Macguire. (459 flew Hudsons and Venturas in the MTO)
I think they're 'cool' too, but in the land of Aces High I'm afraid the investment to model them wouldn't be matched by their use. Obviously it's not up to me, but I think there are a lot of other birds that would make sense to fill out the plane sets before the "Vent"
