I disagree about UPS coming back immediately if you called them and mentioned a gun.  In this day and age UPS would not come back, but they would ask the local swat team to go over there.

This kind of curiosity is just dumb.. Surely this knucklehead knew the package was mis-delivered. He stated that there were two labels on the box... The correct one with the gun dealer's address and the label that fell off his TV.

I've called UPS about mis-deliveries. They send the nearest truck within about an hour. How would you know it's a firearm without opening the box? If the guy was minding his own business, he would not know the contents. No doubt he saw the gun dealer's address and decided to be a schmuck. Or more accurately, he was already a schmuck and he wanted to be a hero... Now all of his left leaning friends will buy him a Corona and he can bask in their admiration for being a force for the "cause".

Of course the police didn't do anything wrong, & yes most agree with the weenie looking for a "Look-At-Me" opportunity...& I got off on my tangent, but this was absolutely handle in a manner to cause the most disruption possible, IMO. Calling UPS? YES! Calling the sender for a label or pick-up order with UPS already holding the label....you could bet this would have been treated like as much urgency as transplant organs....anyway on with our "normal" lives...

what exactly makes him a wuss?  Not everybody knows what to do when you receive a package with a firearm inside that you didnt order.  some would have kept it, most would call the police and let the police and ups sort it out.  it's not like this is the first time that ups has sent firearms to the wrong address.  why is this one a big deal?

just trying to understand your stupidity.  what exactly makes him a wuss?  ever notice when you guys cant come up with a good excuse you resort to personal insults?  and even when you try to insult somebody you still come up short.  I can think of more creative ways to insult somebody.  I bet you dont really rest your hand on your gun, you just want to look macho while swinging your hips.  i bet you wish more guys would wear holsters on both sides that way you can "rest" both hands on your guns and shake it a little more
