The difference is that Saudi Arabia does not spew open threats against other countries. The royal family there have too good lives and too little risk of a revolution to risk large scale wars. The US will rush to Saudi Arabia's help even faster than it will aid Israel in case of war.

I have no idea what Iran has against Israel, beyond the typical resentment shown by 2/3 of the UN members. Israel has no territorial issues with Iran. They are separated thousands kilometers apart with at least two other countries between them. The Palestinian issue has little to do with Iran - the Palestinians are Suni Arabs, the Iranians are Shiites and not only they are not arabs, they usually despise them. Historically, the two counties had good relations till the Islamic revolution - I am not talking only about dealing with the Shah, people had good business relations between them and many Israelis still remember Iran very fondly.

Its not a Democracy so are they going to have a revolution like the rest of them?

If not why not?

The truth is they have little or nothing against Israel. But like many despotic countries who oppress their own people they need an external enemy to keep the populace distracted from what their own government is doing to them. It's very common around the world. By evoking their patriotism the governments keeps their people facing out rather than in. Any enemy will do, Israel, America the west in general. Chavez in Venezuela has the USA as the big threat. North Korea too. It kind of fell apart for a lot of the Arab countries of late when it wasnt enough distraction anymore.

On the other hand we now this stupid movie. That's got them going again. But there are forces at work who were just waiting to be insulted so they could mobilise the ignorant and stupid multitudes.

In China they are burning Japanese flags is this a example of their government distracting the masses due to the problems they are having with corruption in Chinese leadership? :old:

We have football and the X factor in the UK to distract the masses :)

If you burn flags and jump about in the UK its seen as bad manners, last year we had to riots  and people got send down for 3 years for inciting it, little girls were crying on the TV because they got caught. :rofl

I was going to riot but I had work in the morning :old:

No Zack the Chinese government organise the 'protests' for the benefit of the Japanese media. Doubt if the rest of China gives a damm. To busy making a living.

As for Britain, well you are the perennial villains. The Iranians and Argies were busy stirring it against Britain lately. It wasn't hard to see what they were up to. If X factor and football stop working to distract the British masses. No doubt Cameron could stir something up with the French!

Yes the economy is going down the toilet and they are trying to bring in a new law that requires you to take a private health insurance with the banks :rofl

The Banks need money and they are looking to take it via the new Government legilation :rofl

I think they will get arsey about the Falklands again, people will wave flags and get angry, they have already started saying the Argies are complaining again :rofl

I love the X Factor :old:
