Now, it would be neat if the guns of the ships contributed to the defense of the port, even if only partially.....In auto ack form. :aok

Does the fleet in the port do anything? If you "sink" it do you get any damage points? It has nothing to do with the real cv or does it?

you can sink it yourself (as a friendly)

Try landing on it sometime.  Skuzzy greased the deck and the arresting wires are just painted on.

when its sunk / at an angle, you can drive a ptboat onto the deck..

good point though. I've often thought the port fleets should serve more of a purpose than they do now.
