If you want to watch people die, there are plenty of websites where you can watch suicides, beheadings, and all that other good stuff. I'm personally OK without seeing someone die on my television. Hearing about it is enough.

+1 Fox dont have to show the chase in the first place(and we dont have to watch it), but I dont see it as a bad thing that they dont want to show a nip otr a guy offing himself when the possibility a child can walk into the room at the wrong moment.

People I useda call my friends got 'into' drugs .. I learned a clean break is best.
They become people you really do not want to have in your home.
Around your children, family, and yourself.
There was a time I kept a 12 guage close by just for that reason.

The hard drugs have changed since LSD, and yet any drug that screws up your head
and alters your personality does so for *life* .. paranoia, stupidity, lack of common sense..
..inappropriate behaviour is a massive understatement.
I cannot stand to have a druggie who used to be a friend anywhere near anyone I care for.

But .. that's just me, after havin a 'friend' bring a gun into my house and talk trash to me ..
He was wise enough to leave when I told him to
.. I am sure to this day he has no idea how close he came to dyin right there.

On the News:
I haven't watched the pap they serve up for 'news' for decades.. except on rare occasions.
Watched CNN's coverage of the first strikes into Baghdad.
Also saw a re-run of Sad Sacks minister denying tanks in Baghdad with M1's rollin across the background ..that was classic.
Caught the two towers live .. everyone at Papyrus Racing watched as it happened.

I am just not interested in watching the 'who's dead and who's dead near you' show that 'news' has become.
But .. that's just me.

I couldn't disagree more, yet I find myself agreeing at the same time in regards to other drugs.  Namely opiates and meth.  While I am drug people by most standards, those are the only two drug  categories where I've seen people quickly make getting their fix their top priority in life.

I don't believe that LSD or other psychodelics are dangerous however I do believe they can prematurely bring about the onset of mental illness.

The medical evidence suggests the opposite. Alcoholics given LSD have a much higher rate of recovery, and MDMA is used to treat war veterans with PTSD.

I've read this too.  My opinion is just that when it comes to bringing on mental illness.  "I've seen it happen" a few times with friends when I was younger.  I may not be correct because my mom planted the idea in my head after making me promise I'd never play with peyote.  Her first husband took a big dose of it and never stopped believing he was Jesus afterward.

I do see how LSD can be used to beat chemical dependency.  I can't think of a better way to make someone hit rock bottom than without the help of a head full of acid.

MDMA began gaining popularity in the late 70s thanks to some marriage counselors in Texas giving it to their patients.  It worked it's way into clubs immediately and was only banned after the DEA's top egg head did a study on it but intentionally used methamphetamine in his study.  He is no longer allowed to publish in academic journals.

Nothing new, seen more than one car chase end here in LA on a freeway overpass with a single self-inflicted shotgun "wound". 

You have to desensitise yourself and/or just stop caring to watch another idiot looking for attention and to harm/risk/kill others for their own selfish means.

As for "It's not the new channels fault" if they let is leak to the live stream, that is 200% bull.  See my first comment, it's been happening for a very long time, this will not be the first time a FOX subsidiary has righfuly earned their FCC fine/wammie.  Aparently, this fine/fee needs to be severely upped otherwise it would not repeatedly happen.
