If memory serves, HTC has stated in the past they don't want an armed goon.

Not to start anything but  did they mention a reasoning? we already have a Jet bomber with 20mm that may or may not be factious

JU52 is not an armed goon.

In fact, it is not a goon at all...

The reason we don't have a Ju52 is the same as the reason we don't have a Tu-2, Ki-43 or He111, they just haven't gotten to it yet and it has been a lower priority compared to other things.

The Ju52 being armed doesn't matter as that is simply a choice.  Do you want to take the 60-70mph faster C-47 or the lightly armed Ju52?  It is like the choice between the lightly gunned Lancaster with its very heavy bomb load or the heavily armed B-17G with a much lighter bomb load.

HEY!! It's an armed shed with wings!  :lol
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

I don't think a single 7.92mm or 13mm machine gun is gonna make a differance against a P-51
If it could shoot on the ground now that would be interesting

well i got killed by a rear gunner 110 some time ago ( in an A8 ! ) so some guns are better than no guns i guess.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

Some guns are better than no guns, all else being equal, but between the Ju52 and C-47 not all else is equal.  The C-47 is much faster.  That is why it would be a choice.
