I still cannot for the life of me, understand all the hype behind stealth fighters, sure they have a very small radar cross section, but modern day radars can triangulate even a golf ball moving at high speed and high altitude. "even low speed/low alt" So..the idea of a fleet of stealth fighter's is already a dead one.

Yes modern radar systems can detect a golf ball sized RCS target... However they can detect an aircraft sized RCS target at a whole lot longer range.

What stealth does is turn complete radar coverage into spotty radar coverage. You want stealth because it allows you to slip trough the cracks of an otherwise impenetrable air-defense network.

Who cares? As long as you can handle the comebacks, dish out as many racist slurs as you like.

"You smell" avatar :rofl

Made my day :)

I read that a software company in Texas developed the stall buffer noise in said Chinese plane :old:

I think I read some where China got this technology along with rock tech so they could launch rocks in a trade deal with the Clinton administration in 97. So we are selling the rope to hang ourselves with lol.

Yes, somebody wrote something like that somewhere in the internet. So it must be true!

Israel Aerospace Industries have been supplying the Chinese for a long time. For example the Chengdu J-10 is largely based on the canceled Israeli IAI Lavi. The Chinese also licence produced the Israeli Python-3 missile (as the PL-8) and the Israeli Elbit Systems DASH (Display And Sight Helmet) helmet mounted sight. The Chinese have since developed the PL-8/Pyhon-3 into the modernized PL-9.

Expect this new Chinese fighter to be packed with Israeli-derivative avionics, radar and weapon systems.

Shows how much you know that was clearly a Japenese accent, also how is that any different from someon making fun of German accent English? Just because YOU use it as a racist derogotive doesnt mean the rest of the world does. Furthermore next time ome one throws  Die, or Din or Ihr infront of as english word I expect you to  call foul.

I am Asian, and I take offense in such comments. That ok for you, or are you gonna move on to "Not all Asians take that as an offense..." punchline?

Or, if in turn, I'm also allowed to make references to big fat redneck, beer-drunk, bald, Southern-states Americans with a pickup & gun fetish and devoid of educational diplomas... or anyone of Hispanic lineage as all wearing checkered bandanas and impossible to make speech without using one of three words, "loco", "pendejo" and "holmes".... without anyone taking offense to it, we'll call it even.

Actually,  I apologise if your regional accent is seen as  a racial trait and not to be made fun of I am wrong for doing it.

I am Asian, . . .

Where in Asia do you live? Not to hijack the thread or anything. . . but I have a valid reason for asking.

That plane does not look stealthy at all. I can easily spot it in the picture. Until we get some better information about its stealth abilities, it is stealthy only by propaganda.

It's usually better to let the fools be themselves rather than try to correct them. More entertaining that way.  :aok :)
Don't take it personally, oh and I'm Asian too, but I could care less what other people say, unless they're friends and joking around.
