I have noticed warps, but maybe because they have been highlighted by people.

I logged from MW because i had to wash my hair and do the ironing :old:

I wish more people interested in air combat would make an effort to fly MWA.  Great fun.

In the brief time I was able to get on I had a lot of fun.  Only one Mossie flight, but got to have a nice tangle with a couple of P-38Ls that ended with one splashing and I have no idea where the other went.  Bagged a Ki-61 as well and got to play with stuff I didn't get and didn't get me.

I was surprised at the complete absence of whines about being forced into the MWA or about the LWA being down.

Then again, I am not tuned to 200.

More fun playing in midwar planes than I ever had in late war.

That is all.

The MW arena has the best and most balanced plane set of any of the arenas.

I also had a great time. The highlight for me was having AnuAacce run from our fight. He was in a Spit9 vs me in a P38G.  :rofl First time I've ever had a spit run from an easy 38 kill.

Took forever for hoards to capture defended feilds. And you stood a chance to fight them back upping from the hoarded feild. Very few HO's or running away. And the rare 109 expert now and again realy stood out and was fun to watch his manuvering mastery in his 109. Of all things the Typhoon was the high speed hit and run plane. But, most I ran into wanted to fight. I watched GV's fight each other in groups more often than simply spawn camping with thick armor and a super gun.

I was having AW and AH1 dejavu dreams last night.

Moral to this story. If you cannot run away and your planes are reasonably matched, you have to fight. Numbers become important versus speed.

If we were stuck with playing in the MWMA for another week, the vTards would hoard in P38, Typhoons, P51B and B26 leveling fields much like they do enmass in the LW with P51D and lancasters. B26 in numbers combined with their speed are a potent attack force with the midwar matchups to rapidly swamp an airfeild.

I also had a great time in MW. I usually fly MW planes and Drive MW tanks in LW anyway so it was nice to have everyone on an even footing. :)

On a side note for the first time in 12 or so years of being bish I ended up being dumped in with the rooks and after a moment decided to hang around and spent the day there.  I discovered that Shawk, DR7, and such actually have voices. I always assumed that they were bots.  :P   Anyway it was quite interesting playing on the same side as players that I have always done my best to kill for many years. lol   ;)

One of the things I like most about being in the AK's is the monthly rotation of chess pieces.

It was also nice not having to deal with the 262's the usually show up just then things are getting fun.
