I still have a ways to go to match you, but am slowly climbing my way up the mountain.   I see Bruv, Grizz, pervert, Krupnski, kappa, kazaa, Leviathn, along with several others enjoying the view up there.  


As in all great worthwhile journeys, the path is getting steeper, but the challenge, the reward, and the audience applause make the journey fun, satisfying, and full of pride for progress achieved.


I   you, my FPHs, for the example you set and for having achieved said awesomeness.

He tried with the P-38J and gave up, hid under a shade name, went back to flying Spits until the tour was over and switched back to his name.

Flew the P38J an entire tour and then some.  Also have flown the F4U an entire tour and then some.

I do fly other aeroplanes, on occasion, but admit the Spitfire is the most fun.  

Heck, even pervert commented how Cree was pretty good in the D9.  He told Bruv I rarely miss after I (as Cree) had several good fights with him.  Pervert told Bruv that Cree must be some shade... before Bruv and he found out it was just me.  Imagine that.... pervert , likely the best D9 pilot, saying I was good in the D9 to Bruv after shooting him down several times.

I was wondering, how would you describe your particular form of ACM Midway?

Straining, reaching, working to get at least co-E, then full of still mistaken decisions, but working like crazy to make up for the mistakes in the fight.   I think BigR is right on in saying I make many mental mistakes.


Since I often overcome my mistakes in a fight and still prevail, once I get rid of the mistakes, I should be very good, awesome even.


So in a few words, aggressive, straining, mistake filled ACM, yet generally prevailing over 95% of pilots.



PS: Not trying to brag or talk big, just trying to answer with my honest opinion, although the words may come out wrong.
