Important, 308 did _NOT_ get any perkpoints for the reset, we were not 12 hours with bishops yet. Although if handed the perks over, we'd have taken them. Wonder now, funked, does that make us Ninjas for hire to the side paying most perkpoints ;-) ?

And yes, famous quotes from Funked's clearly communicated leadership that stuck this night:

======

XX: Funked, what's the orders ?
Funked: I don't give orders
XX: Could you make a suggestion then ?

======

XX: Funked, what's the targets ?
Funked: Don't bother me, I have a flu ...

======

Funked: Tiffies, just go in and raise hell

hblair,

You can't expect everybody to want to play the land-game.  When you start beating on one side, I expect folks to start logging.  At a certain point I would log too.  I like flying my Jug and I'll do intercepts of raids and such, that's fun.  But once it gets to a certain point where I either can't get enough gas or enough clear space to climb safely before I fight, I'm not interested.  Some folks love to organize, and some don't.  Once the offense has organized, the defense must or be destroyed.  For those that don't like to play that way, they'll just log or head to the TA to furball or whatever.  That's fine IMHO, and to be expected.

Some folks will love running defense and fighting greatly outnumbered, and some won't.  With all due respect, I don't think you should be looking down on others simply because they don't enjoy playing the game that way.  If you think the results would be different if the places were reversed, I think you are mistaken.

Well I had fun intercepting a couple of raids.  After Cit smacked my Jug down, real life intervened and I didn't get back into the arena as I had hoped.  Glad to see you guys had fun.

I logged on... there was 80 + bish and 60 knights.
There were 44 rooks.
The dar showed no conflict at all between the bish and knights.
Then the dar went out.
If you want to have a gang bang go for it. There was no skill involved. There was no herosim. It was just sheer brute gangbanging. And Pyro gives you all 60 perk points for it...LOL. what a joke. The only real effect of the perk point system so far is to encourage this. Hey you guys could do this every night...wow what an excellent game that would be...Imagine how great you would look.
Sorry I gota disagree with ya Hblair. Your a very good sport and all but there was no skill here beyond the ability to find the bases on the map.
60 points for every dweeb involved. Plus lots of vulch kills. What a way to wreck the game.
But how can you come on here and pat your selves on the back. disgusting.

Great offensive effort Hangtime.
Great coat-tail riding Knights.

All we need now is an HA to use the tactics in.

Aces High is a kickass game in the main arena.
I sure hope that at some point it becomes a WWII online flightsim.

When did they put this thing in here and WTF is it for?

Pongo, you're wrong. The Knights were reduced enough to give the win to the Bish and that is all. The objective was to reset the board and take the perk points.

IMHO, the Bish were organized well enough to reduce the Knits even further, but that was not the objective.

Well done Cit and Hang.

Hey you Bish boneheads,

I dont guess you guys know who had the first strike, do you???

   Here is a hint, we wear large suits of armor.

   And last night you won because we did all the work.

   It was sneaky I must admit

   A true Bish tactic

Sorry Pongo...but you are wrong there.  We had a close count on base numbers right before the reset.  There was even discussion about hitting the Knits one more time to make sure we had the most bases before we forced the reset.  So there was fighting between all 3 sides last night.  I am sure the Knits appreciate your claim that they just laid back and let us Bishes overrun the Rooks so that we could get the reset.    In fact, if I remember correctly, there were some Knits over 37 last night trying to stop us from taking it down and getting the reset.

Yeah, way to go Bishops... and Knights.

When I logged off, there were 80 Bishops, 79 Knights, and 39 Rooks.

Thats a numbers advantage that even the dweebs over in AW Big Pac would be envious of!

Rips real war fighting ethos is like this
"God is on the side of the biggest battalions"

You probably where not even honest enough to switch to bish for the night. I have more respect for Citabria, at least he logs on for the county he fights for.
