Prayers to Connecticut
« on: December 14, 2012, 12:29:41 PM »
I know a few of you all live in Connecticut. I hope everyone is safe.

Prayers to the kids that died.

May god have no mercy on that man's soul.

Prayers, especially at a time like this.

I have three sons, 13, 11, and 8. They go to a small school in a town of about 150. But, the fact is that it can happen anywhere.

Folks, do not try to make this about anything else.  It will only get you suspended from the board.  This is a tragedy and if you cannot respect that, then stay out of this thread.

Amen, Skuzzy. My prayers to the families, students, and faculty.  Makes me want to home-school my youngest (only one of my four kids still in K-12).

My deepest condolences to anyone affected. I can't find the words...

Nothing can be more devastating to any parent that what happened there today. So much innocence taken away. So much promise. All I can offer them is my prayers in the form of my tears. This should never happen to a child. Any child. Ever.

Our 1 left in school is now home schooled, but, the chance of an armed robber entering the house while she is home and the adults are at work is probably better than an armed gunman entering her old school.
