You'll have to explain this to me, if it is effortless how can it be rewarding in any way?

Simple,

It's all about pelts and yelps.

Take the pelts and listen for the yelps.

Is deriving pleasure from making other people annoyed and upset something to be proud of or even an endeavour worthy of one's time and energy?

Are you aware that HiTech himself said something like the object of this game is to piss people off. I don't remember the exact quote but one of the old timers here probably does. It was a few years ago he said this.  :neener:

As sad as this behavior is, it will continue to happen. Just try to keep it in mind as you move forward. You'll find that some players try to be honorable. All you can do is call the pathetic out for their lameness and move on. You'll always get the same stupid justification for their noobness "it the MA" & "it happened in real life," but if you even get one tardlet to change his ways, it'll be worth it in the future. The thing about the honorable guys is you'll rarely know who they are simply because they let you go. But we are here and we like to encourage those who are like minded.

How's this for a contrast in philosophies, I came across some damaged bombers just before Christmas and decided to do a Stigler, what with it being the season of goodwill and all, have a look what happened:-

That was funny only because I have done that a few times alrdy in game. See someone smoking, I have no intentions to engage in combat with them... only too see them make a move AFTER I WING UP WITH THEM

Perhaps we should get an arena created where every time you get shot down, you get a box that says, 'Was that a good, honorable kill? Y/N' and if you click 'No', the kill is wiped from your records, and the person is booted from the server.  That way, all you guys that want fair, noble equitable fights could flock there and be happy fighting honorably and fairly among yourselves.

If you're all honorable, this system could never be abused.  Sounds like a plan to me.

Wiley.
If you think you are having a 1v1 in the Main Arena, your SA has failed you.
