Is this the game that's finally going to sink the old patched together 90s sim that is ACESHIGH?

I donno, it's basically MMPOL IL2, so it could be a huge threat.

I kinda hope not, with the way the market is now the guys running HTC could have a real hard time finding work.

Anyway, since I'm sure I'll get a ban for this, catch you all on the flip side.

If it's as giant a TURD as WoT is, 3rd person shooter crap, buying better equipment, then there'a absolutely nothing to worry about.

I'm here for a fight, not a cheesy arcade game.

Meh..HTC just chooses to not advertise as much as they can. Why? I don't know...but AH isn't going anywhere.

I doubt they 'choose' not to advertise, it's more likely their slumping player base no longer supports the money to advertise.

I do agree about it being a gaint turd. But right now its just a basic flight sim, like AH, with more features and already more players. That's not good for HTC.

And it will continue to attract players, as long as there are people who want the arcade 3rd person experience.

IL2 and all its different variants haven't hurt AH, World of Dorks / TurdThunder won't either.

No...there was a post somewhere that stated they wanted a small playbase on purpose. Why? I don't know...but hey, AH is fine where it's at at the moment. Perfect? No. Fine? Yes.

The game is actually pretty awesome for what it is at the moment.. It is lacking in the on going arena gameplay that AH has.. but that is about it. The flight model is not that bad but still in the infant stage.. The graphics are on a level that one would not even compare AH to it.. I play the game everything turned full up and get 180fps.. AH, I have to tweek abit to always have good graphics.. Ground fire and other ground objects are modeled much better.. There is no magical PUFFY ack.. At least it is modeled in WT.. Modeled very nicely actually..

Oh, and it is freetoplay atm..

Lacking an Arena is a good thing. Instant fights are much better than tooling around looking for fight then having to land or suicide cause your of gas 20 minutes later. Sometimes never having found a fight.
