Let the Bass fishing begin...

For 2013...gonna be headed out Saturday...My best friend and his son will be here tomorrow...got the boat ready to go...first time out in it this year...looking forward to it...temps in the high 60's low 70's and some clouds...maybe a lil drizzle...if the fish bite it will be GAME ON BABY!!!!

Nice! We're waiting for the nights to be a little bit less cold, then you can find me and my brother tied up to a tree drinkin beer and catching crappie in our boat.  :cheers:

dang my boat is full of antifreeze and parked inside my shed :( and the sleds are in the garage but NO SNOW TO RIDE ON!! :cry :cry  wish it would warm up to take the boat out or snow 2 feet to take the sleds out :devil

Geeeeeesh...thats a rather large bass...lol  We uhhhh...don't have any that size in our lakes here in Texas....lol Gulf?  Sure...but my boat dont do salt water....so...I'll have to leave those to yall...lol

That said, theres few things in life that make me happier than rolling a Jitterbug across the water at dusk, or the gentle "blurp" sound a Hula Popper makes at dawn on the lake :aok  Good luck Red....tear'em up!!!

Agree 100 percent...hopefully we will...weather looks to be copperating...so...I mean really...how nice is it to even be OUT on the water in your bass boat slinging lures in January without freezing your donut off?  Just getting out will be great!!

Nice rig, Red!  Temps have been in the 30s and 40s here.  We've been waiting on it to warm up to hit our lakes.

Got beautiful fishing weather for the next 10 days.

Last friday got a lovely snapper (top one in piccie, bottom one is a Kahawai aka Australian Salmon but it's not even close to being salmon), hoping to haul a few this weekend and maybe a hapuka (bass) - just not as big as that one above.
