Assuming a marked landing zone placed at distance from the spawn.

Positives
GV
Increased use of perk tanks offensively
Decreased time to land if a spawn battle dies
Perk tanks are more survivable
Less risk from inbound aircraft
 Angry twits have less capability to bomb as revenge for stupid.

Aircraft
More fights, as combined arms ops makes attacks more appealing.
Less vulching as GVs become a more viable option

Negatives
GVs
Camping with perk tanks becomes easier
Damaged enemies can escape and land
Would encourage GV hordes

Aircraft
airpower had a reduced discouraging effect
 Camp tards and others deserving to die might escape

I'd say the easiest fix to the current dilemma would be to lower the GV enemy range to 3k or so.  :devil

Now you can land your GVs anywhere, even when under fire just as safely as our airmen counterparts can on a base under fire.  :lol
