I rode up on a cruiser here in Irvine the other night on my bike, on the way to the old El Toro Marine base.   I use a dead end road as a shortcut, and cut across an empty lot, to avoid a pretty dangerous stretch of road.   I saw a bright spottlight at the end, figured it was a resident or construction worker.   Nope, two officers jumping out of their cruiser with guns drawn on me.   I'm a little white kid on a bike, but apparently they're pretty spooked around here.   After they ran my info we talked a bit, they're on edge lately not knowing what to expect.   Everyone hates their actions lately, but it's not their fault.   Maybe without all these F-ups running around ruining this country, we wouldn't need a police state.   Don't blame the effects, blame the causes.

Guns drawn, eh? And yes your %100 correct, the cause and effect thing many people forget about.  Sort of the same thing as being responsible for your own actions, that too is becoming a lost maxim.

For **anyone** to condone what this POS is doing needs to take a serious look at what they are saying.  Evidently, there are some supporters out there backing this guy up (word is the suspect is a "liberal" and hence the anti-right crowd standing behind him) and making excuses of the alleged "racism" he went through as a PD officer and that he was pushed over the edge.  Total BS.

Did you take the time to read his manifesto?  From your comments quoted above, I am going to say "No", that you haven't read his manifesto.  If you had, you would have read where he mentions his political affiliation, and it's not "liberal", he's a registered Republican that supported Jon Huntsman for the presidential elections and ended up not voting because Huntsman didn't get the nomination.

From the manifesto, "Off the record, I love your new bangs, Mrs. Obama. A woman whose professional and educational accomplishments are second to none when compared to recent First wives."

Before you start with your argument that you believe I would vote for Obama because he has the same skin color as me, f*** y**. I didn't vote in this last election as my choice of candidate, John Huntsman, didn't win the primary candidacy for his party.
