That tire/hub/suspension piece weighed about 150 lbs and was travelling over 150mph (according to SPEED-TV). At least 28 people were injured, 2 critically.
But you guys go ahead and yuck it up about NASCAR because that's real funny...(Image removed from quote.)
at the time of posting I did not know anyone was injured, I doubt ALFA did either, apologies to all :salute

i think you need to settle a bit, neither of them commented on the injury's, mainly the sport itself, and im inclined to agree, ive toured the indy speedway and the only thing that seems fun about the sport to me would be the tailgating. then again that would be my excuse for football...

I wish people would use the wish list forum to post their brilliant ideas, and be smart enough to not post all their stupid ones.

But I am under no disillusions of my wish ever being fulfilled.

THEY'RE MAKING ANOOOTHER LEEEFFFT TUUUUUUUUURRRNNN"

Wow, you're a comedic genius. No one has ever done that before.

Well, except for a ventriloquist with his hand stuck up a dummy's butt about 6 years ago.

If you're going to attempt humor, a little fresh and original material might be good. Or at least give credit to the person you stole the old material from.

And I'm not even a NASCAR fan. Not because they race in a circle, either, because 99.99% of people who blabber about that couldn't hope to do it.

Well, there's some information I doubt anyone here really wanted.

Of course, then again, you may not be the only one here who likes "tailgaiting" guys......................... .........

Are you sure you're not a NASTARD fan?  Because you're obviously pretty butt hurt to be questioning someone elses sexuality just because they don't like the redneck special olympics.

P.S.  Trying to twist tailgating into some sort of sexual inuendo isn't even funny, except the irony of it coming from someone who apparently likes to watch Jeff Gordon and Michael Waltrip "bump draft" each other for 4 hours.
To each their pwn.

I'm sure I'm not a NASCAR fan. Haven't watched a race in years, it's a dog and pony show meant to cater to people who do not understand racing, and as such, prefer prepackaged entertainment.

I'm a drag racer myself, I race NHRA Stock and Super Stock.

You seem to have a "butt" fixation. Not to mention some sort of difficulty with mental handicaps, since you seem bent on insulting people with the use of variations of the word "retard" and cheap shots at the "special olympics". You should really seek help with your insecurities, since you have some sort of problem that leaves you feeling inadequate, and needing to use the truly mentally handicapped as a source of insults. The truly mentally handicapped have a valid reason for their behavior, you should seek a different excuse, as they seem to be imminently more capable than you. Not to mention far more mature and well mannered.

NASCAR has had safety issues for years.   Helton is a piss poor president and is unqualified to even mention that his events are safe.  I have been around the M.I.S. track many times when I was working for Roush.   None of the track management can stand him.  I doubt that they are the only track on the circuit to harbor those sentiments.

Tec, perfectly stated.
