here's an odd wish
« on: March 01, 2013, 12:10:19 PM »
Ok this is something that just popped into my head and has not been thought out but....

What if we also had field specific ENY depending on the fraction of hanger types destroyed.

Example:
Medium Field
1/4  Fighter hanger down - No ENY 5 Fighters available
2/4  Fighter hangers down - No ENY 7 Fighters available
3/4  Fighter Hangers down - No ENY 10 Fighters available
4/4  Fighter Hangers Down - No fighters available except I-16

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

No, this would make hordes and the side with numbers much more powerful.

It is difficult enough to get countrymen to pork ords, let alone take down a hanger.

I like the idea, I really do. I think it makes perfect sense. The more a resource is hammered the less of the "best" that source is going to provide.  I wish HTC would scale more things than they do, this "all or nothing" is a bit daft, imo.

I think it's a great idea, at least the overall concept.

If the end result is that hangars are tougher than they are today as well, great!

It's a great fantasy if you can get it.

First you drug your enemy so he falls asleep. Then you kick him in his nads untill your foot gets tired. Then you run home to your freinds and brag about how bad you are because you beat your enemy but gooood......

Yep, yep, ....combat is so over rated and boring when you can just shoot them like taking a bazooka to a gerbil ranch. Yep you bad, you bad...........sittin duck gerbils...boooommmm.

Whats that music in the background???????

Sounds like Psyco Dad........shot his wife because she weighed a ton......Psyco Dad, Psyco Daaaaddd.....booooom!!

I have a better idea.

1/4 fighter hangar down - all eny 5 planes attacking that base will crash and burn
2/4 fighter hangar down -all eny 7 planes attacking that base will crash and burn
3/4 fighter hangar down -all eny 10 planes and bombers attacking that base will crash and burn
4/4 fighter hangar down -all planes including bombers with less than 30 eny attacking that base will crash and burn.  any gv that enters the sector the base is located will also be considered a casualty.

I wish people would use the wish list forum to post their brilliant ideas, and be smart enough to not post all their stupid ones.

But I am under no disillusions of my wish ever being fulfilled.

Not a bad idea if implemented properly.

Would love to see how it plays out in the LWA, at least for experimentation purposes.

The poor maps on the clipboard are a big problem in a pickup field attack.  You hear on the vox a fighter hanger needs to be taken down but it is hard to tell someone which fighter hanger it is.  Numbered hangers with better labels would help.  Or online printable maps with numbers and load required to take them down.  The ones online are out of date.

With each successive FH dropped, the field guns should turn into these

and these

and these become enabled in the VH....
