Computer Booting up problem
« on: March 10, 2013, 12:20:49 PM »
Every time I turn my computer on it goes to a black screen and says loading operating system from CD/DVD drive...  This has happened ever since I tried to partition my other HDD.  The way I can get it to work is to hit F12 on the Boot screen.  I have to go into an option that says Hard Disks, and manually tell it which one to boot up on it seems.  Any one know how to fix this?

Go to the bios settings, find the boot order page and choose the right hard disk as the primary booting device. In other words, make the F12 thing permanent. As with the F12, you must use arrow keys to navigate.

Yep.  Biz has it.

Ya, and I heard he hides it in his closet!

As to the OP's problem, yup it's an easy fix. Just as Bizman posted.
