I'll take the lead on this one.  First off, those are your words, not mrmidi's.  I find this type of post useless, derogatory, and ignorant.  You want to know what someone means by what they say, then simply ask if you do not understand.  Do not make the same mistake with me.  If you do not know what I am saying, then ask.  Do not presume to put words in my mouth.  It will get you nowhere, fast.

Anyone can express an opinion, BUT if you do so in a disrespectful manner, then do not expect to get a cookie for it.  That has always been the case and will always be the case.

If you treat a volunteer with disrespect, I will gladly ban you from the bulletin board.  I have a very strong disdain for people who treat volunteers with disrespect.  If the CM treats a player with disrespect, that CM will be dropped from the team.  I have no patience for that either.

Now, if you need a line drawn in the sand as to what constitutes "disrespect", you will not get it from me, nor anyone on the CM team.  If you do not know what it is, that is your problem, not mine, nor the CM teams.

You can accept it, or not accept, but this continued goading is stopping now.

Posting anything from an email, without express consent from the sender is not only unethical, but it may be illegal in your state (it is here).  It will get you banned from this board.  If you have a a problem with that, it is your problem.  Same for PM's  Those are private communications.

Considering there were question marks at then end of the sentences I thought that is what I was doing. There was nothing derogatory about it.  I find it funny that perd gets suspended for a private email that was forwarded to someone other than the intended recipient. He then can get banned from the board for doing the same thing.

As for the "volunteers" more more if you bring up a problem with their setups it is treated as if you disrespected them.

Not IF .... HOW. These volunteers give their time to make FSO possible. Supposedly FSO is the only part
of AHII that Perdue enjoys now. That makes his general behavior within this particular part of the community rather
curious if not outright ironic.

I see plenty of KNs jumping in to 'defend' him .... in the worse possible way imaginable. And all of this amongst
honor threads for various KN milestones where FSO participants outside your squadron offer further congrats.

The best favor your could do for him, as a friend and squad mate, would be to encourage him to zip it up during
his hiatus from FSO and to perhaps help him grow as an adult (though I'm not sure his age) and 'leader.'

Less than 90 days. Think of it as Perdue going through rehab.
Wow really? When you really love something you try to do your best to make it even better, and more fun for everyone else. Some certain people won't let him give his opinion, and even when perd does it is usually quickly dismissed. The CMs should try to be a bit more open minded and realize they are not they are not going to right in every decision they make.

Everyone else? Or Perdue and his squad? Give me an example of Perdue arguing either
the content or context of rules in a setup that involved anyone other than himself,
his squad or his side. Honestly, I don't see him having the character to even try.

his squad or his side. Honestly, I don't see him having the character to even try.

Even with people who may dislike perd and his 'attitude' in general, I very much doubt that you will find many who would agree with this statement.  If anything, he has taken an interest (as with the rest of the squad) in every scenario and fso studying the maps and looking at the objectives, and has been a vocal critic of some 'rules'. . .  your accusation which includes a personal attack on his character "Honestly, I don't see him having the character to even try." is far more harsh than anything he or any of us have said in this post.  Should he send this up and have you banned?  No, because of his character.

This is the kind of thing I have been talking about.

Now about me, I am a Pig in MA, I think there are quite a few baconites who will vouch for my character as someone who does not take sides for sentimental or personal reasons - I see a real disparity here, I see someone getting ganged up on the same way Midway was in the MA.  People go too far, and people are well overstepping here.  I implore you to read perd's original post - he is not saying the ban is wrong (even though there is a wierd gray zone there) or that he was banned - but how he was banned and how far that ban went.  The squad CiC duties should not have been a part of the ban, and the reason it was part of the ban is because there was not proper due process.  That is my problem - you picking on perd is not my problem.

Too late.

Doesn't count because I mis-read the point of the post I was replying to, then when I went to edit it decided it wasn't worth getting into.

Suffice it to say, high road or not, the comment has been removed as not applicable.
