Alright...I have been flying the F4U-1 a lot since the new year and I have noticed something. At any altitude I can not pass 400 mph without going into a dive. I have tried going with WEP at 14,000' as many have said but it wont do it...the best I got was 390 before having to refuel. Here's why this needs to be fixed...The F4U-1 Regardless of what anyone says was the first production fighter to pass the speed of 400 mph in level flight without WEP at 5,000 and 14,000 feet. The F4U-1A was an improvement from that and so were the 1C and 1D models. The F4U-4 was capable of speeds from 446-480 mph level flight (That is what I have researched) and I can't even pass 410 in it. In all of these models I normally stay within 290-330 mph. This goes for many other aircraft in the game such as the P40F which was fitted with the Rolls Royce Merlin 500 Engine which pushed the plane to a speed of 365 mph...and in the game I barely hit 300. I know I'm making a huge deal out of this and many of you will shoot me down but I spend $15 every month of my own money...I'm 15...no job...just chores that pay for this and I really love the game but since I pay $15 every month out of my wallet I really would like to see the planes fly how they should. Its nice to see the HE-111 and all them new planes buts can we fix the old ones first? Make them look good, update the textures, and fix the speeds? This is my 4th almost 5th year playing this game because I started after my 10th Birthday...after seeing the same exact commercial that plays once in a while so Its not like in new... or that I'm just some kid complaining about another game but I would love to see these things addressed.
Big Salute and thanks!
