That's quite a leap you are making in putting words into my mouth, coombz.

Not sure what your agenda is but it surely violates the rules here.

I'm not trying to put words into your mouth

Correct me if I'm wrong - your original post (as quoted by BaldEagl) seemed to indicate sonic23 was lying in his original post

You then edited the post, and said that it reads properly now. It no longer indiciates that sonic23 was lying

Therefore, we can assume that you did say to him that he was a dweeb for being unable to out turn you in his 163, and you also claimed that the 163 is capable of out turning a Brewster or an Oscar

I was just asking if you had a film to back this up (and I'm even able to do it with almost a straight face!) . The only agenda I have is the truth Sir :salute
Did you see my dad on dogfights yet?
I'll be seeing you face to face possibly next month.

I mistyped the order of the statements and fixed it.

I never implied the original poster lied because he didn't but I did imply he was trying to get around a "rule violation".

Your assumptions are part of some agenda that is counter the the rules here.

Sonic,

once i had a fight, a finn guy (possibly MakeT, im not sure) in a 109G2 vs me in a 163. He could outturn me, so i had to hit full throttle and extend a bit vertically, and reset the fight. It happened a couple times, and took him 3-4 scissors to burn my advantage and get behind me. He was a very decent stick, not a newb. Later he got help and i had to run. Had ~60% fuel st the beginning and ~30-35 at the end.

Before some of ya start to throw rocks on me, saying how can i be that much of a newb, i could just BnZ him... he was flying well, deserved more than a brainless BnZ, also i wanted to see how the 163 can turn.

So someone today named icepac told me the 163 could out turn a Ki-43 or brewster. Now im no 163 expert but from the amount of times Ive flown it id say it has a hard time trying to out maneuver a spit, seems to be more on a p51 or p47 level to me maybe a little better. Anyways he told me something along the lines that i should've been able to out turn his spit 8 easily (before he crashed into the tree) and that i didn't know how to handle a 163, so maybe i don't, but i just want to clarify does anyone know or have a chart on where the 163 compares to other planes turning radius.

In r/l.....prolly not.....in the cartoon world of AH anything and everything is possible...the one that gets me is the A20 turn fighting with fighters, has no E then goes from 7k to 11k straight up......oh the MAGIC world of AH :bhead

It absolutely was intended as a crack at me because you mentioned me by name......which wasn't necessary as the wonder twins (one from uk and the other from nz) exist purely for that purpose.

He asked why I was out over his strats in a spitfire and I told him it was to fight ME163s and lure them out past safe return...........without leaving the boundaries of the arena.

Everything was cool until his answer in which he states he will ditch to deny a kill.

I'm not really cool with posting screenshots of text exhanges in the arena but, since skuzzy moved the topic without editing out sonic's screenshot, I will assume it is not in violation and will provide one of my own which explains why the conversation turned.

The "why aces high is starting to ***" comment is not a jab at HTC but rather implying that the players are to blame.

There's nothing wrong in what you are doing, ie. "baiting" Komets to fly them selves out of fuel like that. Nothing wrong with that at all and it is well within the boundaries of the game. Just like it is completely ok to try to ditch when out of fuel. Why should the other guy just hand the kill over to you on a silver platter? Because you flew a long way to "bait" him? Or is there some other reason for it?

The fact that you start mouting off at someone because he ditched after he's ran out fuel, while you were doing what you described here, is beyond moronic.

He didn't ditch but he stated he would do that specifically to deny a kill.

The obvious solution is to not up the 163 if you aren't willing to deal with what might be up there waiting.

I concur there is noting wrong about either, i did tell him in game, that baiting comets was dweebish only after he told me trying to ditch made me a dweeb. I did not see anything wrong with trying to ditch an out of fuel perk plane that was baited there, but according to ice thats the reason this game is starting to suck. Thank you ice for posting the screenshot for me, to verify once again what you said.

Anyways long story short he hit a tree and augured in his spit. I made it back home with fuel to spare, i think he was just salty he crashed or maybe that i wasnt as easily killed as most pilots.

Nope......everything was cool until your statement about ditching to deny a kill.

You landed zero hits on a pretty long engagement.

Don't put yourself into a situation in which that dweeb action would be the only way to "salvage the mission" and you won't have to deal with criticism.

You clearly stated your intent as seen in the screenshots.
