I'm a huge fan of British Top Gear... watched the US version and it sucked so bad it made me want to stomp puppies and punch babies..... and I really like puppes and babies... so yeh, the US verion blows. And sucks.

Brits by far,
I enjoyed the episode where they brought over the Aussie version for a competition, but I really enjoyed the one with against the Germans, when the guys prosthetic arm fell off during the race.

That was funny as hell. But the best thing on the episodes with the Germans ("don't mention the war...") was Sabine Schmitz. Though she was even better when she flogged that cargo van around the Nurburgring.
All the way around, the Brit version is tops. Love the road trips, the banter, most guests and most of the reviews. But they need to do more episodes. And I guess they are nearing an end, something about Clarkson and the other guy (not a host) doing something with the show. On my phone not going to google it. Saw it a while ago, probably beginning of this season

'Merican.

Why? Because 'MERICA!

You would think that is the best one.

I thought it was such a disgrace that I stopped watching the history channel for a while out of spite.  The hosts have 0 chemistry.

That Andy Guy?
Was he a presenter on VHS Top Gear?

I think They are The Who of television.

Getting their visas revoked by the Dept of State over that thing that happened in the fine state of Alabama will be my fondest memory.

My favorite challenge, when they race the Italian Batmobile against a Cessna across the continent.

A close second would be the Polar challenge.

Thanks for making me google on my phone lol. Andy Wilman was a presenter on the original version, never knew, cool. So was James May. But maybe it was just Clarkson selling his stake. That caused some major uproar. Haven't read the whole story again, can't remember why I thought Wilman too, but maybe later I will read it through.

I don't understand why the OP's question even needed to be asked.

There can be only one.

I've read that article, basically they're making sure the highest paid mouth on the BBC doesn't control the brain.

Old format top gear was on forever, motorweek has been on forever, car talk has been on npr forever.  I see him doing top gear and spin offs until he's too old to.

Can't handle the american one comparing mustang, camaros and challengers, over and over and over....

My personal favorite episode is where they buy a car in Miami and drive to new Orleans.....and damn near get rolled by some good ol' boys in Alabama
