Also, (as all I hear on 200 is how the mighty have fallen, and how I am not as good as I used to be 10 years ago), well....perhaps that is true. However, I use a 2009 model Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop to run the game. That gives me a frame rate that flucuates from 3-9 on most days. I run the most generic and basic graphics available (and still my planes all have parts that appear bright/neon green)
Gone are the days of 2002 when basic graphics were the norm, there was no "rudder waddle", no ultra sensitive gamma setts, and the only hacking was unlimited ammo.
I ran a Gateway back then with a GForce 3 graphics card/accelerator and had a very high frame rate then. (sigh, wipes tear)
On top of that I have a 2004 model Saitek ST290 pro as a stick. That, coupled with the realistic plane waddle when you use the rudder, (and screwy gamma settings that are ultra sensitive) makes for a very difficult playing scenario. As such the Grayclif will hear no more commentary about my current flying abilities vs 2001-2002.
