IT would be nice if the vehicle supplies would also re-supply the pilots pistol ammo.

Why not?  Supplies are used to re-supply Ammo for vehicles, why not the pilot? I can run around and shoot the supplies, so I should be able to use them also.

So he can drop supps out of his goon, bail and run to the map room, and then have unlimited ammo to plug troops as they run in.

+1  I have fought the horde until this all I have left.  Ran myself out of bullets on multiple occasions.

If you're too lazy or dumb to let this happen to you, you don't deserve the cap.

IF you can get the goon there, why bring vehicle supplies when base supplies would, in most cases, be better? While being a re-armed pilot on the ground is not as good as being in a vehicle with fresh ammo, it is better than nothing, and entirely plausible.

let's ask htc to allow a toiletry supply drop...everyone needs something to wipe with and i like to carry my own supply.

If that's what you think an effective base defense consists of, who are everyone else in the game that knows better to tell you otherwise?

lol, since when is a pilot with a pistol considered base defense? even a jeep is more effective...

I know its not an "effective" base defense, but it IS a last ditch effort at base defense.
