La-7 "Yellow 06" Baltic Front, 1945
« on: May 26, 2013, 06:54:28 PM »
I am starting this skin, but I can't seem to find much about it or many pictures on it. I saw the LA7 thread and the picture presented in that thread, but I have seen the same exact picture multiple times.

If possible, can anyone link me more info on that skin?

Lyric if you have anything can you show me please.

Here is a little bit of what I have found :

http://www.internetmodeler.com/2005/january/galleria/la7.php (Skin at the very bottom of page)

That is the skin, except the body is primarily blue-green. (found here : http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/335/1/3 )

Here is a similar skin on a different plane, I believe that is a Hurricane II. The LA skin doesn't have the camoflauge, it is one primary coat.

I am wondering that if maybe the skin really is green, instead of the turquoise color. I am unable to find anything that comes close to what I am looking for, the only skin I can find is the dark greenish LA7. But while I was reading, it said that the skin was "rare" because of the numbering 06. It also said it was used on a late model LA7 with 3 B20mm's, I may be mistaken but I am pretty sure the LA7 in AHII only has 2 20mm cannons.

The pic is a Yak3 and the La-7 in AH has the option of 2 or 3 cannon, though it would be the rare authenticity buff that only loads 2 cannon.

Which picture the first? Multiple sites says it is an LA7, are you sure its a Yak3?

Also says it was a late production skin, so if I do make it will it even be applicable with the LA7 in-game?  :bhead

The picture of the real aircraft at the bottom of the original post is a Yak 3.

Yeah, I assumed that it was post-war because it said 1945 and the war in Europe was over by then, right?
