I would love it if you could add to the ideas as well, Thanks.

I also wish for names of the pilot on the side of each plane next to the cockpit, no matter the skin used (white outline with black font maybe)?

Which font do you prefer?

How about an egg in your beer, as well?  Perhaps an automatic hummer machine with Betty Boop eyes, too?

Well I was kind of hoping you would add your own instead of asking me.

Well, if there is a place for them to sit; there is, if not: No co-pilot or auto-climb (I guess that last bit might be a bit too harsh, they need em for the hour long missions i'd say, but I suppose it could be done on plane by plane basis if someone wanted to read it literally).

Why don't you suggest how they should bet set up as well? It would help to grow the idea a bit.

i believe he was politely saying..."it's a bad idea in general".

Then why post? You said it plainly enough and were able to move on, then why can't he? Or are you somehow commenting on him?

Yea, I can see that, but why not add something to one of the ideas, you know; twist them a little and see if some new arrangement comes up that appeals?

ok...already replied to the troubled ones...here's what i could see as "improvement".

- O'club general message board and a "letter" system to leave private messages to other players when they log in (might even extend this to back and fourth email by using user account email address (HTC keeps this and uses it to send you emails already)? Bit much maybe).
ability to send a pm to another player, not online at the time would be a good idea. not everyone checks into the forums. no emails, just private messages on the server.

- Fancier terrain (more polygons).
i'm not sure a higher polygon count would be the fix for terrains due to the increased graphics load (not to mention the size of the map files) but it's a start. maybe if the option to disable ground clutter while in flight was somehow tied to changing the way the terrain is displayed while in flight, it would maintain a balance of some sort.

- CV control screen for person in command to give coordinates and locations for offshore shelling.
it's a good idea in theory but could prove too difficult to implement properly. it would require a grid map and a view similar to what the guns have, only overhead enough to see where the shells are hitting. few players know how to direct fire in the first place, but trying to direct fire using just a grid map and what can be seen through binoculars would be really tough. if there was some way of getting a spotter in position on shore that would be more effective. 2 guys working in a coordinated effort as gunner and spotter with direct comms could do some damage but, that doesn't happen often...and the spotter is way too vulnerable.

Why?  If you are sitting in the cockpit, you know who you are........hopefully.
