have had a 50 gallon tank for years now, use to have a small mouth bass named Fish stick in it. Now it is full of 40 to 50 baby Convict cichlids, ranging in size from pinky nail size to thumbnail size, and one guppy we call "the warden".

I figure once the convicts get bigger the warden is going to have a very hard time keeping his inmates in check.  :devil
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

LOL, I have a friend that is about to buy his first aquarium and it's a 55 gal. I asked him if he knew what he was getting into. His reply was how hard can it be?  :rofl :rofl :rofl

The best way is to check with the local Distributors and find out which fish are expressly in the GA area..  They may even have tanks for sale cheaper than the stores carry . I bought all my tanks from Distributors!

Yeah Im limited to mutants from Petsmart/Petco or the way over priced guy.

Always thought it would be cool to get a decent-sized tank with a ton of tiger barbs, but never really been much into fish. A semi-aquatic setup for a red-eared slider would be pretty cool, though.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
