Stampf, another guy I really respect for his well measured BBS responses and the success of putting together such a powerhouse of a squad, and keeping it rolling as well.

Mechanic/Batfink, I'm really interested in archery, especially the British Longbow and its history, also his video of the Spitfires over his house, and his g/f's reaction and such made me think he and her must be a pretty cool couple, and be a blast to be out at the pub with no doubt, talking about the RAF and the Longbow over some Strongbow Ciders.

More to come I'm sure.

 :salute Deadstik!  It was fun in the DA the other night fighting, we will have to do it again sometime. 
The two against two was great.   :)

I am desperate to visit Canada Tundra (it's a country that loves 3 of my favourite things...hockey, weed and Trailer Park Boys!) so when i make it over there i'll be sure to look you up  :cheers:

other AH players I would love to meet up with include yarbles (who didn't come to the Duxford event that I attended and where I met a bunch of other squaddies), ALFAMEGA (who seems like one of the nicest, most good natured chaps ever) and zack1234 so I can get his autograph for my mum

there are a whole bunch more...but I'll never get any work done today if I list them all  :salute

Time to organise an informal meet. I live within a mile of the finest pub in Yorkshire. My band is doing a charity gig for Help for Heroes on 3rd Aug at the Cat'i'th Well pub, Wainstalls near Halifax England, if anyone nearby interested. Hog roast and the finest ale you can consume. Ear drums might get some abuse but it's for a good cause.

A couple of years ago I was doing some work that had me traveling all over the US and had the opportunity to meet with several excellent AH players: Sarge201 (doesn't play anymore but miss the guy), SWAPLT, Glider (who took me up in his RV8 and was mega kind after I blew chunks all over the cockpit), and EZRhino.  I live close to ET37 and have had lunch with him a couple of times.  He's an outstanding person and a HUGE wealth of information!  I had a beer with CapMedic while he was passing through town.

Everyone I've met through AH have been class acts.  I've got several other guys that I would like to meet and share a beverage with.  If any of you are ever passing through the Chattanooga, TN area give me a shout!
