At some point in the past HTC made it plain that in the end they own all names inside of this game.

This came out of a long vicious spat over who owned a squad name.

The only thing we are paying for is access to the sand box.

Anyone ever notice no one makes up a squad name like "Nancy Pants Sissy Boys" then proceeds as a squad to kick the snot out of everyone in the MA. It's always something vaguely manly and meaningful in a kiddy game with a few exceptions. Always liked the idea of "300 Sheep" after that movie came out and our fondness for wooly lovin.

I've always appreciated the historical squadron names:

    The killer chihuahuas
    Aces & 8s
    Aces High Air Combat Group
    Airborne Kitchen Utensil Assault Group
    Claim Jumpers
    Dickweed Heavy Bomber Group
    The Instigators
    Texas air cav
    Thunder Mob
    Wings of Terror
    Nazgul

My wish is to make squad creation unique to the owner and this clearly visible in-game and on the clipboard roster.  Also whilst we are on the subject how difficult would it be to customise squad membership to vox channel.   Currently anyone can tune to any number and grief squadrons.   If I use squad text I should be able to tune into my squadron in game and have some sort of privacy.  I already have this in the form of a 3rd party vox server but I can imagine some squads that don't, being griefed by these sorts of players.

There already is a private squadron vox channel, just tune vox to SQUAD.  The only downside is that you can't have guests join the channel but it does keep those you don't want out.

Nancy Pants Sissy Boys

No one would want to steal that name. Can you imagine whining about getting beat by anyone cool enough to be a member?

Newbee: Waaaaaaaaaaaa it's so unfair I got beat by a sissy boy.
Oldtmr: I'm ready for round 2 if you can stop crying you sissy.
Newbee: but, but...you are a sissy boy.
Oldtmr: I'm a Sissy Boy and I just sissied your kester into nothing. Quit whining and up again.
Newbee: You cheated..................
Oldtmr: Then this time we both film it and send it in the HTC.
Newbee: FU you sissy cheater.
Oldtmr: Thank you. I'm always here and all the Sissy Boys want to duel you too.
SissyBoy1: I'll wear pink for you Newbee if it will help.
sissyBoy2: I'll go commando.
Sissyboy3: I'm half through a bottle of craggenmorre.
cissydoy4: I'm finished with my bottle, please let me do you Newbeeeeeee......
boysissy5: I'll fly a C47 if you need Newbeee.
Newbee: I'm recording this and telling Hitech you are a bunch of sissy cheaters........
cissydoy4: I'll promise to drink more if you dool me nusisseeee

When the Few had those wings it was under Bruvs control.  If someone he doesn't know makes a squad with the same name on purpose his wish is valid.
