According to the FSO schedule, next months FSO is "Western Front, August 1940." Which means only on thing: Battle of Britain. As many of you are aware, our Bf 109E-4 is an older AH2 model and as such, its skin catalogue is in dire need of some new life. I submitted four new skins to skuzzy this past Tuesday in the hopes that they would make new tour skin update. Skuzzy informed me today that the batch for next month is already set, and so we will have to use the current selection, my labor will have been for not.

I ask you, the players of FSO, to post in this thread, in effect signing a petition, that these skins be reviewed and released into AH before the start of frame 1 of August's FSO.

Besides which, if people join a mission and let the mission launch them, they get the skin set as "default" for the plane. The players would have to self-launch when the mission window pops up - if the mission window pops up. If the plane does not have multiple roles (like choosing between scoring as fighter or attack mode), the mission launches you automatically and you have no chance to self launch to use the skin you want.

+1 The current emils that are historically accurate in the current skin set are lacking in the eye candy factor. Devil's skins would greatly improve the accuracy of the event, and make it much more enjoyable since these skins are sooooo good locking.

That being said I don't dl all the skins in game and only dl the specific ones used by my squad. So for the most part all I see in game are the default skins.

Whatever lame squad does a mission in FSO doesn't deserve these skins anyway.

We create missions and use them for organization only. I set the time for hours after launch and we launch our own aircraft from hangar. It allows everyone to pick there skin and sometimes ords of their choosing.

We always roll on command of the mission leader. If it allowed us to choose skins correctly, we would probably launch real missions.
