How many with connection issues lately? How many of those use Verizon?

I ask here instead of hardware software because a wider range of people frequent here rather then the hardware software forum.

Same question as is in the title. "How many with connection issues lately? How many of those use Verizon?"

Usually my connection is pretty good. But lately its been weird. already checked for maleware, Virus's etc.using several products and have no issues there.

I've also been noticing others complaining of the same and am just curious as to how many are using Verizon.
Reason Im wondering is mysteriously i got a notice in the mail that "for as little as an extra $10 per month" I can upgrade my connection for a "better internet experience."

Now maybe its just me. But I wouldnt put it past any of these companies to start intentionally screwing with peoples connections to encourage them to get or convince them they need an upgrade.

I have Fios and nothing has changed in the past 3 years I've had it. Works well, almost never disco, and downloads fast. Could just be your router starting to spaz out. Then again..I live in the city so I get wifi just by going to the park.  You could check with neighbors to see if it's an area related thing or just you.

Run a trace the next time you get bounced. That should shed some light.

   I have Verizon also and have little issue with it. My issue is my old computer. I reinstalled the whole game from the website and it seems much better. Though redoing my settings is a pain but well worth it to me. Maybe the latest patches have something to do with it.

   It didn't stop you from flaming my tail last night though.

I have Frontier, I've always had connection issues.

I also use fios. I rarely disco due to Internet connectivity. And if I do it's a copmputer issue as my cp barely tolerates the use of AH.

Although, if some uses the bluray DVD for netflix sometimes, I can have some issues if more randomized discoes.

Yea I usually dont have problems. Not lately though. Discos. lag, connection issues.

Oh well will have to wait till sunday night. Right now I off to Old Virginia for the weekend

Run a trace the next time you get bounced. That should shed some light.

Run a tracert or use a free program called ping plotter, someone somewhere probably has a hosed router.  You can see it but good luck getting someone to fix it.

That's that good and bad about the network.

Sometimes if you shut down your modem for 30 minutes or longer and then restart it and then the game it will chose a new route thru the internet.

Just to be clear.  The game does not decide what the route is going to be.  That is predetermined by all the Internet Service Providers routers in the path between your computer and the game servers.
