Oh believe me the hilarity was not lost on me. I too have witnessed the runamok-mouth, and then watched it attempt to explain itself away after it got owned. Not by me, admittedly I'm not at his level behind the stick, although my mouth is probably circumspect to my age.

On the roll question I really can't say how long.  I  know I died a lot trying it but it does not have to be smooth.  As long as you avoid the bullets and don;t lose too much e you are ok.  The problem is cannon birds.  As you can see he was spraying on every pass hoping for something to connect.  I could have easily gotten a pilot wound there and with a cannon bird I could have lost a part on every pass.  It should be a last resort really but it is fun when it works.

I didn't see much difference the other day fighting Lacer than I saw over a year ago fighting midway.. Same spit wanting to kill more than stay alive.. When an A8 ropes a spit at 200mph.. you're doing something wrong or don't understand.. just saying    :salute

I'm just learning the P51D.  I admit I did poorly here.  I will get better... much better.  :aok

Choosing an awesome fighter pilot hero, the incredible TonyJoey, (with Bruv's blessing) to guide me, inspire me, and to fly with me in spirit when I up my PonyD is my first accomplishment.  Pwning Dedalos will be my second... soon. :joystick:

Be very glad I didn't up my mighty Spitfire MK VIII, because otherwise you'd have been towered watching the debris that was your 109 fall from the sky.  Nuff said. :)

We fought 51s three months ago...how long does it take you?

Then we fought 51s two weeks ago when you were Theta and you lost.  I never fly them....so you're actually getting worse.

You got lucky and you know it.  You even admitted your good fortune at me missing.  Now, you wanna duel P51Ds again and once more experience the spankin you got last dueling session??? :)

I find it funny midway doesn't even have to try anymore, always someone who feels the need to make a thread about him within a few days of the last midway thread disappearing, he can go fishing now without even having to make a post. :rofl

Not even a small chance of this happening in an equal fight :)

FPH BatfinkV,

I hear you in saying that, but from what I've seen... he's just not that good.  I mean he's ok, but you are better and so are many others... and I know I can take him in my mighty Spitfire with substantial frequency.

Just saying... based on my experience with him.  I wish he was better, like FPH TonyJoey, or FPH Bruv, or FPH kappa, etc... so I could admire, learn from, and be inspired by his skills.  Just not seeing it... yet. :headscratch:

He has been away for a long time, even so I suggest you beg some time in the DA with him, you will not find many who are as difficult to kill. I've known Ded pretty much the entire time I've been in the game and I can say one thing for certain, I am not better than him.

Also, I would like to request that I not be addressed as an FPH. I would hence forth like to be addressed as an FPSV. The SV is for Super Villain. There must be some villains you know, or there is no need for the heroes.

And you're that good?  :rofl

I see you haven't changed a bit, that's why you'll never be more than an average player in this game.  You claim to learn from your 'FPH's' but your actions show that you haven't learned a thing.

A player that is rusty after returning from a long break in the game, hands your arse back to you (thanks for the laughs Ded  :aok) and you claim he is just not that good?  I mean, if "he's just not that good" and still managed to make you look like an idiot, what does that say about your skill?  (hint - It doesn't make you look very good at all)

Keep reaching for that rainbow.

yes, FPSV - I like that.   :t

what's interesting is seeing midway going thru basically the same pattern that many good sticks have, albeit way much slower.

Spits - check
Pony - check
109's - check
f4u - check
la7 - check

toss in a decent samping of the other intermediate rides like jugs, wulfs, and the kitty and Ki families inbetween the pony, 109 and f4u periods. 38 pilots are just whacksauce to begin with.

I was turning ponys way back when and had several good students who went onto greater things.  :aok

I was also turning lala's very early on.

Here's a secret - before you can specialize with a plane and style, you have to understand them all. I'm ultimately a spitdweeb at heart - the lala is the best spit going.  :aok

To master one, you need to master all, sort of. It's a FPH/SV thang. Some have it, many don't - some will always be midway between the two.

You will always be my FPH.  Nuff villans in this world (cough AKAK, cough SHawk, cough Reaper90), we don't need more.  Anyways your skills and strength of character demand FPH status.  There is no denying said truth. :salute :rock

Someone who is improving improves at everything, gunnery included.  JO, TJ and many others have missed first shots on me many times but they finish the job.  You do not and remember....I never fly that plane....ever.  You have been flying it for 5 months.  That would be like me crushing you in a 9, which you know I will do as I have done lots and lots of times....or me crushing you in an 84 or a K4.

You will lose and you will lose badly.  Just for you I will begin flying that plane a lot and I will come find you and it will get posted because you deserve it.  Please take note I have never posted the many bellybutton whoopins I gave you in 5s, 9s and 16s.  You have used all your humility credits up.
