Perv,

considering the same thing myself!  Only issue is in Canada you cant get them with nicotine so I have to order them from the States. They are not technically legal here.

I have a friend who has done well on them except he said he ran out and had to have a smoke or 10 until his new ones came in. Since then though he gets enough to not run out and has done quite well!

It doesn't stop the addiction but it's much better for you, well atleast until they do all the studies and find out it isn't...... :devil  They do sell a spray inhaler that is supposed to work well but I didn't see a reduction process for it like the vapes have.

    :salute

PS: good luck and keep at it!

Trade you an E-cig with nicotine for a Cuban cigar.  :D

You are addicted to nicotine.  This is the drug that controls your life.  If you're vaping, you're still addicted.  If you're chewing gum, you're still addicted.  If you're on the patches, you're still addicted.  Some alternatives might be "better for you" than smoking, but you're still letting a substance rule over you.  You need to get mad about that and put an end to it.  Cold turkey all the way.  Good luck :aok

Yeah a study showed that 80% of smoking parents would trade the quality of food for their children if they only had money to buy cigarettes or the food. I always had zero respect for the smokers.

Nicotine isn't totally bad for you, infact smokers have a lower risk of Alzheimer's. Nicotine itself isn't bad, it's all the other crap. Addiction is your choice, none of my buisness if it dosn't effect me.

I have a whole box of cohibas from Cuba, robustas at that but they are legal here so I can go buy any Cuban I desire!  Interestingly enough you could come here and buy a box,you need to sample 1.....  before you bring them home but that is perfectly legal!

So long as they are opened they are considered personal and legally obtained in Canada!

Don't get caught, errr trading them to friend tho!

Cohibas are legal also here in europe. I like to smoke a cigar once or twice a year with a good shot of whiskey or wine. With me the problem is that when I buy cigars they usually get dried out before I smoke them and I'm not going to buy a fumigator for one time use per year.

** For those of you who vape or are thinking about starting vaping. You should check out this website:

http://www.760vapor.com/

My team leader started that business and they are starting to get really popular. Almost everyone in my BN who vapes buys through him. I can't say personally because i dont vape/smoke or whatever, but from what everyone says, they are the absolute best juice that you can find.

I can too but doesn't it piss you off that big companies and marketing is reaping a huge benefit from your "attractive" addiction? I can now spend my money on other fun things in stead of financing companies pushing nicotine.

Like Sik said, quit! you'll be healthier, and have more spending cash.

I stopped smoking cigarettes.

I now smoke a pipe.

For the Nancy's that are about to get their panties in a bunch, I understand that it is not a "safe alternative".

By the same token: the wife doesn't complain about the smell, I do not feel the need to smoke anymore, my lungs are very thankful for the dramatically reduced volume of smoke in them due to not inhaling, my wallet is thankful because the cost of smoking a pipe has been a lot less due to it not being nearly as often as a habit and I get to have variety in what I smoke.

So, all that being said, I have no regrets at not smoking cigarettes anymore.  I do not miss the compulsion to smoke, the irritation at not being able to, the $70+/week habit, the hacking up phlegm in the morning, the shortness of breath, looking for my cigarettes when the phone rings, I get into the car, after I eat, etc and all the other crap associated with smoking cigarettes including it being the first and last thing I did every day.

Although smoking a pipe may seem like trading one habit for another, it doesn't seem like it has been taking as much of a toll on my lungs and wallet, yet it satisfies my urge to smoke.

Regardless, we all have to die from something and I'll be damned if it is going to be old age...
