You do know that it's not even abbreviated in German, I hear. And wouldn't it be pronounced 'stoog', phonetically speaking?
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

Yes, but involves something that many military minded Germans lack.

Humour.

The concept is just hilarious, and its actually a bundle of fun if you don't take it seriously.

That was pretty funny! I liked the little white flag popping out of the hatch at the end. I could use a little more of that humour in my life right now. What is that?

Bundle of fun heeehee :)

Just not my cup o' jo.  But to each their own. I'm just kind of curious though, who is the target audience. Is it really pre-teen girls or is it really old men into anime?

Not a bad thing. If younger people learn a bit about & get interested in WW2, the flow on will be more people looking to play a WW2 game.

This new interest gets people digging into the History which is always a plus.

Years ago there was a franchise called Strike Witches.
I don't know how... but that franchise with its alternate universe and reference(s) lead me here (and now War Thunder)  :bhead

and it was kinda "educational" too  :D

StuG is an abbreviation of Sturmgeschütz, "Storm-artillery", assault gun. I'm not sure if that's what you meant though.

Yes, from what I hear, Germans say "sturmgeschütz" instead of "stug" as most English speakers do.
