I happen to love the P-38, if it wasn't for the twinfork boys (Delerium, Ack-ack, lazer, baloo, list goes for a mile) I would never of touched it, but I think it was Delerium who challenged me to fly it a tour, and I've been flying the 38J ever since.

I can't quite fly the 38G or 38L (they seem off to me) and the bulletproof glass in the G just screws my aim to hell, only thing I could ask is to try the 38H.

I have to agree with most of what ya said GHI, but I do take it differently on the CNN and Fox, they should get out of CNN and MSNBC and see what is really going on in the world.  First we have SirNuke griefing about GVing in AH and some dweeb griefing about P-38's.  All this liberal BS that has been fed into these kids from school up to and especially in college has created a generation of "I want it my way" sheeple.  They should play the game their way and not worry about how everybody else plays the game.  A big   to ya GHI old buddy, and a hearty fart in the general direction of the original griefer!

I spent the last tour in the L.  Then I went back to the J for a couple of sorties a couple of days ago.  The roll rate as I expected was notable as you would expect, but there is something about the flight model of J that is different than just aileron boosters.  The J handles lighter is best words I can think of.  It maybe the slower roll rate of the J that gives that impression.

should I cry or laugh? Of course younger people are full of energy and want things to change, I guess your flame has gone extinct and you don't want things to change. That's called conservationism, and usually comes at a later age  

I fail to see the link between some TV channels and the wish for things to change in AH tho, especially for people like me that live in France and (thank god) are not fed with the mainstream news channel from the US.  

Despite my relatively young age I've been lucky to see the 5 continents and visited numerous countries, did you?

Hmm, I half agree and half don't. Agreed that the hordes are stupid and that something needs to be done to promote better gameplay...disagree on the ENY change though. You change it and all they will do is revert to the next best thing. Then the arguments will still be the same.

Either perked ordinance. Or change the ENY depending on whether or not ords are taken. Both would fix the problem IMO.
