Crikey mate, that's a cracker of a site!    But jeez fella, why aren't ya flyin' the Aussie flag?    The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation designed and built that little ripper of a plane, the Boomerang.

I have rechecked.  Various sources say similar information, however, at that time of the war, a lack of raw material(aluminium), factory bombing and field modifications combined with inaccurate records make it difficult at best.  Early K-4's were powered by the DB 605AS engines, however, my resources do not state how long they were used until the redesign was incorporated for the DB 605D engines(availablity?) and sources indicate that around 1,600 K-4's were delivered.  The 'Galland Hood' was made to suit the G-6, however was more incorporated into the G-14 and G-10, whereas it was standard on the K-4.
