Not everyone that plays is into the smash-and-grab base taking thing. Some just like to fight, no matter how the opportunity presents itself.

 :lol I love the guys on the Nit side but I swear when it comes time to take a base it's like herding cats dealing with them. But I said about the same thing in a thread a month ago and someone pointed out that the top base taking squad the previous tour was Jayro and his bunch. Go figure

Yeah that's true, but you'd think those guys would be spread out evenly among the three countries instead of the vast majority all on one side.  :headscratch:

Maybe they all found the side that gives the least amount of verbal abuse for "just fighting and having fun".

It would be interesting to see a pie chart of base captures by each country. I wonder if we have a guy around here smart enough to do that?  :noid

That's not knightland for sure.

I very much enjoy being on the outnumbered side and fight the hordes and thus it was great being a Knight, as for the last weeks/months it was the side most likely to be outnumbered... and most often quite massively so. Cheap perk planes, great perk bonus, lots of targets to kill without having to compete with 20 greens around... great stuff

But the neverending massive whining like "we suck ... when did Knights ever win a map... why aren't we organised..." combined with massive personal attacks ("it's YOUR fault we always lose because you...") and spy allegations simply made me quit them. It was unbearable.
Now I fly with numbers, but in peace.

I could imagine I'm not the only one  :noid

As a Knight, this is a pretty serious issue.  I apologize in advance for this post because its likley going to be long.  Base taking requires a combination of tactics, teamwork, and commitment.  The first thing we need to....hold on, I see something shiny!

I can't speak for the rest of the Knights but as a squad that flies Knights the Pigs go after red guys first, then their fields.  Big red dar bars and lots of red dots on dar draw our attention.  If there are not enough red guys to be found, then we will start taking and breaking red guy stuff in an effort to stoke up big red dars and lots of red dots on the dar.
