i forget if it was ammoland, or one of the other gun sites......they'd interviewed some people from different ammunition manufacturers. they seem to be mostly running 24/7 trying to keep up. is some of that demand people buying to resell at higher prices? of course. it's how money's made. i know quite a few that're hoarding their ammo. i know quite a few that're shooting more now than ever. given the current climate(for the last 6 or so years, and more so in the last year or so), it's pretty understandable that there's a shortage.....and it's gonna be quite awhile before it gets better.

No, Colorado, but Big-R is quite well represented here.

I was in Walmart the other day and no 22's, but they did have a little more shotgun variety other than the target stuff. They had a few boxes of 45acp, which I haven't scene in a while.

Was at the gunshop yesterday, picked up some 9mms, 45s and 22lrs   All were limited to 2 boxes max

He had bricks of 22s, but you had to purchase a 22 cal gun to be able to buy a brick.......kudos to him...hes doing it to keep people from overbuying, and or buying bricks to resell... :aok

I just got my 06 FFL which means I can sell either the bullet in 9, .40 & .45 / 10mm or completed ammo.  Let me know if I can help.

22 is so specialized that you would need about .5 mill to get tooled up to produce the ammo not to mention special circumstances with my property that would cost another .5 mill to get it up to standards to store the lead styphinate needed to fill the cases "rim".  Not to mention hiring a chemist to make the stuff so add another .5 mill in equipment and another .5 mill to pay them.  I don't currently have 2 mill to get you a .30 round.  Good luck!

.30 = 30 cents

Most bricks are 525 rounds.
