Look I know what its like to love your dog. Nobody loves dogs, or their dog, more then I do.

But they are still an animal and not a person. They will act on instinct and I dont take any chances with mine.

Im sorry but ive taken to many dog bite reports from owners who were astounded "Muffy" took a chunk out of baby Timmy.

thing is, people should never leave their dogs unattended with kids. Kids are mean. I trust my pack 100% but would never leave them alone with kids because of this reason. Dogs can only take so much. Hell, iI get annoyed by kids. People think its great that kids can climb all over their dogs but do they watch the dogs body language? The dog is probably looking at them for help but they dontdon't see it. A responsible dog owner would never put their dog in a bad situation that could set them up for ffailure to begin with. I know I surely wouldn't.

Just about the sweetest dog I've ever had the joy of having, right where she loves to be... right on my lap on the couch.

Vicious my rear end. You ought to see her try to play mom with the litter of kittens...... The only thing she knows how to hurt is a food dish!

I've had a few run-ins to support both sides. i've come across pit bulls that I knew came from good homes but were overly aggressive. Just in my neighborhood there are two pits that belong to two elderly couples. The primary factor I'd guess is that they are extremely territorial and protective of their families. One has attacked my dogs in our own yard and the other has been vicious towards walkers out on the street.

My aunt adopted a little female pit that was rescued from an abusive home (the neck was raw from a chain and she was covered in fleas, ticks and dirt). Despite the circumstances, she has turned into the sweetest dog I have ever encountered. She could beg a treat from Cruella DeVille.

With proper care and socialization I'm sure they are capable of making wonderful pets, but it seems that they have a heightened feral side that should should warrant caution. Just another thing people are getting worked up over and starting witch hunts for.

That's to cool Betty, the pink tutu is perfect on Tank!  Sort of ying and yang if you ask me,the big bad pitbull in a pink tutu.......  Poster material if you ask me!

I see it now,Tank in a tutu with the caption.....   Does this dress make my butt look fat!....... :devil

Betty it's great you're involved in doggie dancing, not something I would do because I'd make my dog look bad but it's a great activity to keep the dogs outta trouble! A tired dog is always a good dog.

When mine is being a pest,I throw a ball or toy for her until she's had enough and then we don't see her for a couple hours. She's usually curled up somewhere sleeping.

Well, Betty, in just a few hours on Wednesday we saw your pitty population and decided to double it, plus one!

Previously it was just Sissy, seen here chilling on the couch with her buddy Panzer...

Well, our girl Sissy, unknown to us when we adopted her just short of 2 months ago, was carrying little troopers! We thought she looked like it a few weeks ago, and took her in to the vets office, and he said "no, no puppies on the x-rays, must be false pregnancy. Either over protective feelings towards the new family, or the new litter of kittens she seems to hover over. But not pregnant."

Well, he was wrong! Between 8:30 am Wednesday morning and about noon, they came one right after another!

The daddy, it turns out, was the neighbor's dog, a black and white full-blooded pit, next door to the guy we got Sissy from. Apparently Sissy had figured out how to get out of the fence around their property without the guy knowing it!

and our boy Butters, the orange cat who has fallen in love with Sissy the momma doggie since we brought her home, spent almost the entire day in exactly this spot, watching it all happen! He thinks he's the dad!  :rofl

<---- hasn't gotten a lot of sleep the last 2 nights......  :D

OMGGG!!! SOOOOOO stink in cute!! I just had a momma and liter of 10 here since the pups were 2 days old. When they left to new fosters, they were 8 weeks old and fully vetted for their age and ready for adoption. All have since found new homes. There was a little black and white one like the one u have that has white down muzzel, hes my favorite. They are fun but lots of work. I miss them but holy cow for little babies they are lots of work to clean up after. Momma did great until they were about 5 weeks old.
