With today's Education consisting of only being focused on
passing a specific test, I wouldn't be surprised if someone
actually believed this was a real map.
Ask any Student a Geography question, see how many are stumped.
You'll be shocked
Oz
Geography? I bet most can't even tell you what that word means.
Hence, why I took my teaching certification and threw it out the window. There are very few places in the US that actually educate kids. Instead school systems are more about imposing s false sense of accomplishment, not implementing corrective actions, and "dumbing" everyone down so the masses succeed. It is too bad that the truth is no longer taught. Sure, some kids do great and just keep going and learning and that is awesome. Sure, some school systems push their kids hard and are not afraid to spell out reality. The truth is though not every kid is going to be a scientist, not every kid can be an MD, not every kid can be an engineer, and for that matter not every kid can handle being a construction worker or slugging beef. School systems (and society) build these kids up making them think they all "have the right" to a 4 yr college degree, or a law degree, or a PhD, when in fact they don't have the ability to earn that level so who's fault is it when they don't earn it??? Yeah, not their own.
