Representing 15% of the B29 Casualties, let me shout out to the 68th Lightning Lancers for demonstration HOW to attack bombers. en Masse and VERY well coordinated.
Anybody who thinks bomber guns are overmodelled should fly with these guys..  then STFU.

We got lucky with having the Plissken and the Unforgiven flying around to intercept your fighter cover.

It'd be nice next time if you guys would stay out of your guns though and not shoot at us though.  :devil

Yea you guys hit us right as we went into our bomb sights.  In fact many died in F6 mode :O.  If I didn't do a quick pickup of Branch as my gunner, I probably would have shared the same fate.  Nice job defenders of A69 :aok

We were defending A72 but thanks!

Also.. since we are Axis this month... I have to agree the alt cap for bombers should be 15k and their ammo load out at 10%  :neener:

Next month when we are Allied and most likely in bombers... having the bomber alt cap at 30k will be mandatory though.  :rofl

I get giddy when I see the sons of my FSO experiment so many years ago get a mention. Especially from a "Forefathers" squad as yourselves. <S> and TY Raptor.

1/3 of the current FSO squad is lone wolfs or from MA squads that do not have an FSO squad. Coupled with the CM duties that they have taken on I am surprised that they get much of anything positive done in the fight.

I wish I could see in person how this is accomplished, but my diabetes demands a strict regiment. I apologise to the other side for the lack of the easy kill.

I have often meant to mention my pride to my squadmates for their continued efforts in FSO. I believe 5 CMs through the years and an FSO squad that considers a promise to be there a "real life" commitment is worth noting.
Most of the time I fly they are not around, so I do so in publicly. GJ Unforgiven

Note: Its Christmas time- give me a break

Unforgiven is honored to participate along with many Great Squads.  Big Salute to those B-29's and their escorts at 72.  Your P47's held discipline and ouch!  Those B-29 have got stingers!

Hacksaw and Mystic I hold you responsible for my Friday night addiction. One of the things I still enjoy about FSO is you never know how it is going to play out.
<S> to all the staff and squads that make this happen.

That was our plan BR.  Frame 1 saw the B24's ready for us when we made our run, and we paid heavily.  I told the boys this week we would catch the raiders in their bombsites, and in the event...it worked out.

Not an easy window to realize sometimes, and luck of course plays into every battle up there.  You guys did recover well, and at one point you could have walked on all the rounds filling the air within and around the stream.

Good fun.
