Sounds good, I got back in to D3 few days ago just for kicks, its nice to play again but ultimately I finished Act 1 - 4 in a few hours on Inferno MP 10.
Ugh. They changed out the difficulty naming and if I read it correctly, (which I probably didn't

) also revamped the way it works as well. The naming is Normal, Hard, Expert, Master and Torment. The revamp, I believe it's the number of critters that changes, and how often you run into champions and elites with x amount of modifier's based of off your setting and number of players. I believe the max is still just 3, with exceptions(?). The monster difficulty level is based off of the highest level character in the game regardless. It is a different animal it seems.
As mentioned before, I'm doing a run as sader, but on Normal SC. I probably won't bother with HC as it being a beta, very likely to run into issues. Idea is to find bugs, but...hmmm

HC is another beast on it's own. I don't recall see them changing the fact that HC is outright harder the SC and that loot IS better. Meaning, they may have bugs in it that wouldn't otherwise be spotted in my SC playthrough. I may have to make an HC sader as well now. For those who don't know, Softcore is a term used in Diablo for characters that are not deleted when they die, hence Softcore. Hardcore is perma-death. Normal Hardcore will have with more critters, and more champions and elites will show, but it will also have better loots than Normal Softcore. Everything is also tougher, having more HP/Resists/etc. in Hardcore.
