Photo was taken probably a few inches from the reflector plate because of the size of the cameras of the day. The Mk8 view length is 6-18 inches from the eye. So I moved the default cockpit view through it's full back\forward range with the same Mk8 version set to 2pixel = 1Mil. The prop width did not change at 55Mil. The distance from the cockpit to the prop is not large enough for a few inches of focal length behind the reflector plate to make a difference with that gunsight. Since the prop is a fixed target within the view range of the Mk8. You would have to physically move the Mk8 to change the size relationship of the reticle to the fixed position prop blade. It is a collimator reflector gunsight.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

Honestly at this point the only question I can ask. Is the prop too wide, or the reticle at 512x512 (mil file 256) I'm creating, not 100Mil? I could be building the reticle too small, at which point my apology for being misinformed to the construction format all of these years.

The prop may be to wide, also prop in the photo may be at a different pitch.
