I have only been using mine for a month but it is awesome, I must have made 20 profiles before I hit the comfy zone for me, still got some minor tweaking to do mostly the "Y" & "Z" axis, but it's almost there.
I have my yaw & pitch axises set in a very steep "V" for roll, "Y" & "Z" they are more of a shallow "V" all have a sizable dead zone, I like it to snap back to the gun sight quickly and I am very fidgety in my seat so it helps me. speed is at .7 and 20 on the smooth, I only have to turn my head 15 deg to look back and up 180 deg, I dont use the "Mirror setting for pitch" my pitch up side is steep wile pitch down is more of a flat line, I dont need to look down much quickly . Use the graph and the "6DOF" box to see how far you are turning your head and how much it moves in game, Load the "Pano" from time to time see see how it looks in a cockpit, it's not an exact AH cockpit but you will get a general idea of how it's going to look.
Definitely play around with different set ups one of the best tips was to set up one axis at a time, this tip helped me big time.
