... However, you could additionally require that to be a viable squad that is exempt from the restriction, it would have to have a minimum of say six or eight members (what's the point of a squad with any less anyway).
1. I disagree what you think is a viable squad and forcing people to switch sides.
2. A squad, according to AH, takes 3 people register statistics together. They can't be punished for being small.
3. I don't support ENY because there's been many situations with the Rooks side where we have the least amount bases but with the most people. Granted most of them are in Tank Town but we can't take off in ME163 to defend our strats and HQ during raids.(I know now it's a different dynamic now since the strats changed ,somewhat but HQ and some strats remain together for the most part.) We just have to bare the horde from both countries.
4. I don't jump countries, I've been a rook since the second day of my subscription in 2002. My first day I was a nit. My take on the 12 Hour rule, is that I am indifferent on the matter. After some thought on it , I understand why is it in place. People in the past abused the hour rule for their benefit. Knowing when a mission was being put together and jumping countries to intercept it. People amazingly knowing where the CV's are , even though they are in the other side of the map away from a country that owns the port. Most people will be logged off before their 12 hour expired and by the time they log on again, it will be a new day.
Finally,
5. How about this solution: People can have the option in the their clipboard or the starting screen, for the system to delegate them to the lowest number to any country before they get log on with the 12 hour rule still in place. Perhaps the starting screen (where you type in your ID and password screen is seen) would be best.
Squads are can be exempt or not. It's up them as a squad if they like to switch. Some already do monthly.
