Right now I'm paying 90$ per month for 100 mbps down 10 mpbs up. I was paying 120$ for 250 down 25 up, but that got shot down by some wife ack, and I was lucky to not get dropped to the 25 mbps down for 30$ plan.
www.shaw.caThese prices are far higher than the competition now, so I'm switching to Fiber next month, the local Telco has fiber right into the home, not just to the curb, and I was very lucky to be in the test area for the town I'm in, so we get it a year before everyone else. It's going to be very cheap too, a bundle deal for the first year where it's pretty much free when we get our TV and phone back through them, in a "win back" over the phone campaign.
It's going to be 260 mbps down, 60 up, and will eventually cost 100$ in the TV bundle, plus another discount for returning. Normal price is 129$. Best deal around right now. http://www.sasktel.com/personal/infiNET/why-infinet.html
There are no limits on use through the Telco, they've never had it, while my current ISP/Cable has a 500 gb limit per month, although it isn't strictly enforced.
