Auto gunners for bombers

I like to fire the guns myself.

You could still fire  them yourself, but while your piloting the plane they will engage enemys

Only if when the AI gets the kill the player doesn't get any perks/credit for said kill, and the 'victim' of the AI aimbot barrage doesn't lose any perks if killed in a perk plane.

Oh, and no formation option if auto gunners are enabled.

  Nope....I'm not liking this idea. I would however, entertain the idea of more than 1 player being able to man the guns at one time.

Yup. The otto weenies worked quite well in Warbirds. Unfortunately there are far more fighter jocks than BUFF drivers in this game and on this board and they are dead-set against anything and everything that can make knocking down easy meat any harder. So I doubt we will ever see the ottos in AH.

The game already allows bombers to do crazy manoevers they couldnt do IRL...
I dont want to intercept 3 bombers doing loopings and shooting guns at the same time...

Not really.  Auto gunners are either "too good" or "worthless" depending which end of them you are on.  Very difficult to find a good balance with them.  Bombers are already "gamed" a lot, let's not add to that.

bombers being harder to kill is fine, as long as it is because of player skill and not AI.

I think the less AI we have in game the better.

But then again I am someone who doesn't even like bomber formations.. I say if you want three bombers, call up two friends to fly with you.

I don't think it would make them harder to kill, it would just make things look more realistic. However, I don't know how you could keep a formation of many bombers from kill shooting on each other with otto.
