While i understand the "no" points of view, i dont accept some saying "it would be an insult" (to americans) to add them :Kamikazes did the ultimate sacrifice for their country and not adding them (for the previous reasons) would be an insult to Kamikazes memory.

Just remember we got far "worst" units represented ingame : ie the "Das Reich" : we got their vehicles/skins/markings ingame, though their actions during wwii are -by far- worst than Kamikazes. (check "ouradour-sur-glane" village for exemple).

Kamikazes gave their life for their country, when SS units slaughtered and went deep beyond the "normal" war boundaries.

If we follow the reasoning here, then all SS units paints/skins should be removed.

I think a Kamikaze plane is one of the tactics used in wwii to sink ships (47 Allied vessels, from PT boats to escort carriers, were sunk by kamikaze attacks, and about 300 damaged!).
Adding them is a way to honor them. Not adding because some find it "not politicaly correct" would be a deny to they existence, their courage, their sacrifice, and their memory.

It's just my opinion.

Some just cannot understand the meaning of a public NO.

What if i was a narzzie and i wanted bigarse swasticas on my 190? The answer would be the same no. Accept it or keep trying, it wont really change the result.

Its the "wish" thread : thats here we can explain what we would wish and others argue too : while some say "no", others say "yes" : im just defending the history part for Kamikazes : they existed, thats a fact : as we got Japanese navy forces ingame, being able to use their tactics seems logical.  :salute

Well we used to average Kamikaze threads 4 times a year so things are getting better.

At least one carrier was sunk, the USS St. Lo at Leyte Gulf. At least 34 ships were sunk and more then 350 ships damaged. The 163 was of little value, yet we have it.

St Lo was not a fleet carrier. The ME-163 was not a suicide weapon. Face it you want Kamikazes to make it easier for you to sink ships it has nothing to do with history.
The Kamikaze is like the Atom bomb and the Swastika you're not going to see it in AH. Learn to dive bomb you'll find satisfaction much quicker than waiting on Kamikazes to be added.

Please don't play obtuse about precisely what symbol we are referring to and why it is not allowed in this game. Thank you.

Now, to de-politicize and move on, Shifty mentioned it as one of three examples that are futile to wish for in AH. There are more.

True, my bad  ;)

He wasn't correcting your mistaking it for Norwegian.  He was explaining why it was in the game.  The Finns used that emblem before the Nazi Part existed so it isn't a Nazi swastika.

Go to India and you'll see swastikas all over the place because it has been a Hindu religious symbol for millennia, so when considering the ban of the Nazi swastika it is important to recognize that only the Nazi swastika is banned.

Yeah I know it. Evidently you don't know the Finnish Hakaristi ("hookcross") or vääräpää ("crooked head")
is not the same as the counterclockwise swastika used to represent the Nazi party. You fail.

Right, its the same than Nazis, but...blue. Since 1918.

Wrong it is not the same as the nazi swastika, the same as the star of the Soviet Union was not same as the Star of David.
You fail again.
