No waiting in early & mid war.
« on: April 01, 2014, 03:17:26 AM »
When the numbers are low in these arenas I would like to see the 1 hour change country rule abolished. Reason being if you try to engage any one in these arenas of late they just bail & go to the opposite country your on. If you change country's to follow the only people in the arena they just bail & go attack the country you just left so there is no opposition for the next hour.
When the numbers increase on all sides have it go back to the hour change over again.

Agreed.

With numbers similar to those of AvA, there's no need for these arenas to have any side-switch time limits.  Switching at will works fine in AvA.

This is a valid wish. I quit flying MW simply because you couldn't find a fight.

Not that it matters but if you check the country stats page you can find out were the action is going to be and go to that side from the beginning unless something else has changed?
At least as far as  wining of the war, or preventing it.
One hour rule would be fine, instant side switching would kill the arena even more,,   Not everyone goes to mid war or early war just to kill or get killed,,
so expert ( insert name here) knight kills novice bishop a few times,
,, novice bishop goes and fights rooks,
expert ( insert name here) decides he's not done killing the new guy and in the end runs him out of the arena all together,,, and this helps HTC how?
One hour isn't to much to ask,, run a supply trip or three and your hour has passed
Flying since tour 71.

it might not help htc, but people refusing to interact with anything other than buildings and auto ack doesn't help anyone else.. so good riddance.

seriously why even be online if all you're going to do is kill buildings and auto ack?

Kill the manned ack.

And they will change their attack to the other country again.

With such a low population like EW has, it's indeed an entirely different problem than encountered in the LW MA.
I basically stopped playing there when it often turned out to be 1 player on country A, 0 on country B and 8-10 players moving over the map as one or two forces on country C. When that one player started to make things a tad difficult to them, they would stop all attacks against his side, concentrating all on the other country. If you now switch to engage them there, they will turn their focus back on their original target and you are stuck.
If you don't switch, you can wait there with nothing to do.

When the numbers are low in these arenas I would like to see the 1 hour change country rule abolished....When the numbers increase on all sides have it go back to the hour change over again.

What would you suggest as a threshold (number of players) that would trigger the "no waiting / 1 hour time limit?
Would it be based on total numbers in the arena, number of players in each country or some combination?
